ClickStart Wave 4 – The Digital Apprenticeship Program For Those Who Want It All

Having no experience but dreaming of working at the leading digital agency – Ogilvy One? Your dream could come true with ClickStart – an internship program of OgilvyOne, partnered with AIM Academy.

After three seasons, ClickStart Wave 4 has come back with three challenging yet exciting stages.


To be eligible, students applicants must successfully pass one course at AIM Academy. This year, after a strict selection among potential applicants, 17 outstanding AIM Academy alumni were chosen to step in the 2nd stage.


All shortlisted candidates were required to present at Info Day at AIM Academy on Febuary 24th. The event aims to offer them general knowledge about the program as well as best preparation for the 3rd stage.


The Selection Day was organized on February 25th at the office of OgilvyOne. This is the most exciting part of ClickStart as all candidates took part in the real race to prove their ability. After an introduction about OgilvyOne, candidates were eye-opening with the successful case study “A Ticket to visit Mum” done by OgilvyOne which aimed to increase revenue for North America- to India flights, operated by British Airway.

Following, all candidates were divided into 3 groups and moved to the next session –  “Speed Dating”. By meeting department leaders, candidates have had the opportunity to learn about how each department works and what particular skills sets are required for that division. They also learned about essential soft skills in advertising world such as how to solve conflicts between Creative and Account, what to do when receiving a brief from Client. In this session, all candidates were also required to introduce briefly about themselves. Some potential candidates stood out the crowd by giving impressive and creative introduction.

After “Speed Dating”, they all faced the most difficult challenge in Selection Day: develop a campaign to attract attendants to the event sponsored by a brand of vodka in order to gain brand awareness. Three groups had made every effort to find out the best solution they could within precious 90 minutes.

Finally, top 4 best candidates impressed the Jury Board by their good attitude, passion and excellent presentation skills. These brave soldiers would begin a new journey with 4 month-internship at the leading digital agency in Vietnam. This is the best opportunity for them to shape their career plans through experience gained from rotating in three main departments at OgilvyOne.
